MEET THE ARTIST

Nice to meet you! My name is Den and I have been making art for about 14 years now! I'm the artist behind the Nightshade Post

The inspiration behind Nightshade Post comes from my constant desire to explore new creative paths and push my own limits. I’ve always been driven by curiosity—by the question of how far I can grow and what I can create when I challenge myself. I believe art has the power to connect people through shared emotion and visual vibrancy, bringing humanity together in a way that words alone often cannot.

Our lives are intertwined, often without us realizing it.

I’ve always loved traveling and experiencing new places. Exploring the unfamiliar helps me feel more connected to the world around me—especially when I’m immersed in nature and the environment. That connection is what inspired me to pursue my B.S. in Natural Sciences and Geology. My dream is to weave together the magic of art and the curiosity of science, creating something meaningful that the world can appreciate.

I have a loving partner who supports me in everything I do; truly I don't know what I did to deserve them. We live together with two kitties and four rats! It sure can be a handful...

I'm so lucky to have all of them in my life.

They are some of the greatest reasons I keep creating!

Art still remains my outlet and profession in life (even though I don't have a fancy degree or anything) and I am so grateful I have it.
